Director's Message
Our Hope Center is a community
organization located in the heart of a great city called Detroit. This
organization is for everyone: the rich and the poor and everyone in between.
Everyone has a special role to play in our organization. The rich would
receive the pleasure of giving. The poor would receive the gifts of living.
Everyone else in between would be there to facilitate the intermingling of
all us.
Hope Center is a dream of our Shahjahan
Bhai. He dreamt of a place like Hope Center in the deep of his heart, where,
people of all walks would converge and create a wonderful ambience. At hope
center everybody is somebody. This is Shahjajan Bhai’s dream. Now, many of
us have joined with him and adopted his dream as ours. For the most part
this dream is still a dream and we have pledged to realize this dream. Our
common goal is to make this dream happen. This aspiration is the glue that
binds us together.
I’m honored to have the opportunity to lead Hope Center, although I’m not a
leader myself. As time progresses and things evolve, new leaders would
emerge to lead this great organization. In the interim, I’m going to do my
best with your help.
